Online therapy - is it effective?
Clients have been choosing to work online long before COVID-19 made it essential. For many it is more accessible, comfortable and just as effective. I've been working online for over 6 years and really enjoy it. I'll send you a unique Zoom link to our sessions, before we start. The link will automatically download what you need. . Once I know how would you prefer to work I can answer any other queries you have about working online via email or at our initial session. |
My philosophyI believe that you are the only true expert on yourself and that we all have the inner resources and answers within us to lead happy and fulfilling lives. However, at times it can be hard to hear this inner wisdom and guidance through the noise of modern life, anxiety and at times deep emotional pain.
Whether your problems are from the past, going on right now or impact upon your future, exploring the issues in a confidential place with an experienced, qualified counsellor can help to face challenges, make changes and move forward in the way that is right for you. The way I work My approach draws on my training in Transactional Analysis and person-centred counselling. I also integrate tools from other counselling approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Compassion Focussed Therapy and ACT. |
What to expect?
The initial session is £25 and lasts for one hour. I have daytime and evening slots, generally between Monday to Thursday. Some people find that just a few sessions are all they need, other people value therapeutic support over a sustained period of time. The therapy will be regularly reviewed as we go along.
